At a certain point of a slip ring's life it may need to be tested and re-certified to ensure reliable operation. Wendon has a fully equipped test/qualification lab to provide that service. Almost all of our qualification tasks are conducted in house.
The following are some examples of test and qualification instruments we have in the lab.
Computerized Insulation resistance and Hi-pot testers, network analyzers, temperature/humidity chambers, vibration station, shock testing station, vacuum chamber and life cycle testing stations.
